The ONLY way to do Wedding invitations in 2022
So let’s be honest, the whole RSVP process kinda sucks. You have to find contact for all of your family and guests, manage any kind of dietary restrictions, plus ones, and more.
I do have some good news for you, with the wonders of technology, we’re able to automate a lot of those things so you don’t have to rip your hair out trying to figure out if your second cousin Jimmy has a peanut allergy when you have an entire wedding to plan. If you’re going down the wedding website route, try to choose a platform that offers RSVP automation. Once you’ve sent your digital RSVPs, you can let the automation system action those pesky follow-ups on your behalf, saving you hours of time (and phone calls) in the process. Chances are your guests will appreciate the automated process too, saving them a trip to the post office! With that said, I’ll be sure to throw in some tips for those of you who prefer to keep everything on paper.

How to automate your RSVP’s with RSVPify
Right off the bat, I want to mention, I’m not sponsored or affiliated with this company in any way. They just have a really cool product that I want to share with you. RSVPify is just one of the many online RSVP tracking softwares, but it has a few different features that I think could really make your life a bit simpler.
Smart RSVP Tracking
This is really the bread and butter of the software. It allows you to use the RSVP’s to quickly get a headcount on your guests without dealing with the headache of spreadsheets or physical mail. You can even set up Custom Questions on the RSVP form.
It also has some pretty cool security options. You’re actually able to limit RSVP’s to invite only or specifically who can invite a +1.
Customizable Wedding Website
RSVPify actually has a bunch of different wedding website templates that you can build on. Wedding websites are a great way to share announcements and important information for all your guests.
Personally, I thought it was cool that you could use this software to get your website and the RSVP’s all handled in the same place, because adding more moving parts to your already busy wedding is not ideal.

Email Communication
Through the software, you’re able to setup professional email communications where you can let guests know of any important changes or info that they’ll need for the day of with ease.
Pricing
For the personal use package (Made for weddings) it starts at $20 a month. I wouldn’t consider this too pricy with how much time and headache it will save you. But if that is a bit out of your budget, I have a few options further into the article.

A free option
This software won’t be quite as in depth and have all the extra features and security options, but it’ll save you a bit of cash. You can send electronic invitations for free with Joy, a wedding website that also lets you manage your guest list (including those tricky plus-ones) and track RSVPs. Not ready to go fully paperless? Emailing your save-the-date reminders will still help you save on stationery and postage.
Print your own
If you’re completely set on doing physical invitations, this is what we’d recommend. Tap a design-savvy friend or buy a downloadable template on a site such as Etsy. Then print them at home or at your neighborhood FedEx or another store. Either way, you’ll save a couple of hundred dollars over going with a professionally printed invitation suite.
