Confessions of a Bride... (Regrets)
Weddings get pretty complicated pretty fast, and the all the costs, scheduling and moving parts, there’s bound to be some regrets involved regarding budget. Interestingly enough, a wedding planning survey found that over 35% of married couples actually wish they would have extended their budget for one more thing for their wedding… A Videographer.

You Can’t Go back in Time
You heard that right, almost 40% of couples admit that if they could do it all over again, they’d have hired someone to film their wedding day. But the numbers don’t just stop there. The actual quality of the videographer is a big part of it as well. Of the 63% that did hire a videographer, 25% wish they had spent more on the service, Which is honestly surprising to me.
I guess the saying stands true, a picture’s worth a thousand words, and a video is thousands of pictures. And in this case, worthy of a larger slice of your budget than maybe you would have planned on.
You’ll probably never wear that perfect wedding dress that you spent so much time to find and even more of your budget on. But with the right wedding video, you could watch your mom and friends helping you into your dress and you walking down the isle, looking like a model on the cover of bride magazine. And you could have watched it over and over again.
Never again will you be able to create that special piece of family history where your relatives and friends all came together to celebrate your relationship. But with a wedding video, you could have shared your special day with your friends who couldn’t be there, and your future kids and grandkids.
You spent a lot of time putting together this perfect, once in a lifetime event that after the years, you can barely remember it. But with a wedding video, you could relive your day over and over, and be able to see all the things that you were unable to see, really allowing you to appreciate all your hard work in planning such an important day.
Now, I’m not just saying this because we’re wedding videographers, but whether it's by us or by someone else, you can’t afford to NOT have a wedding video.

The day goes by in a blur…
Whether your wedding is going to be a huge event with 100’s of people or something smaller and more intimate, it’s the dream of every bride and groom to have an amazing experience that they can look back on. You’ve probably heard this before, but most brides will tell you that the day goes by in a blur. We all know the saying, time flies when you’re having fun. No matter how photographic of a memory you have, it just won’t do the day justice like a wedding video will, where you’ll be able to see the day from an outside perspective and really enjoy it for what it was.
Not only will you be able to see the more traditional parts of your day such as the vows, cutting the cake, your first dance and so on. But there will also be many emotional connections with people who come to your wedding who you may not see very often, and even worse, some that may not be around eventually. We actually once had a couple who booked us for their wedding last minute because they knew that their grandma would be passing soon, and it meant the world to them that they were able to relive their day with her and keep those memories forever.
Today, you can preserve memories better than ever. The updates in technology for video and editing software has brought the ability to create movie level wedding films to the videographers with the right skillset. Unlike past wedding films shot on VHS, modern wedding films have extremely high quality that will last for 10, 20 and even 50 years.
The point is, I want to make sure you don't have those same regrets as the rest of the 40% of couples. If you're interested in us capturing and preserving your memories for years to come, I'd love to have a chat with you! Click here to contact me!
