What is the best way to clean a wedding dress? Its just the bottom of my dress that got dirty (outside wedding) and I didn’t want to have to take it to someone if there was a way for me to do it myself. Thanks!

i want to have giant balloons at my reception. I’ve seen them in several wedding magazines, including the last Martha Stuart one, but i looked at all their website and couldn’t find anything. when I do a Google search, i can only find tacky wedding ones that look like they’re from the 80s.
basically the ones i want are white, and more round than normal small balloons, and they’re about the size of a big beach ball, any help?

We are probably going to have 40-50 people. I would like to have dancing, but I am not sure if there are enough people for that. Do you think that will work? If not what other activities do you think we could do? I want it to be at least somewhat formal, so no lawn games or volleyball like I seem to see suggested on other websites and in magazines.

Looking for some ideas. We are having a small wedding, and I am craft-aholic so I wanted to make our invites myself. Any suggestions on some good ideas. I am looking for pictures, etc. I like the type of invites with the pockets for everything…I also like stuff that is different. : )

I’ve looked up some sample wedding invitations, and I found one I liked. However the begining starts “The honour” is that British, or the correct use of the word for this occasion? I dont want to look like a moron if I spell it honor and it’s wrong. Also, does it matter on the invitations of the bride/grooms name is first or last?!

I once saw a poem that thanked the guests for coming & you could attach it to a box that contained the favor. It said something about the box containing love & appreciation for the guest. Anybody know of this?

I have 2 questions:
1. What do you think of the name Audrey Mae, or Audra Mae? Do you have any other ideas for little girls?
2. My wedding is in Aug of 2008, but Im planning now! Any ideas for do it yourself wedding flowers, or favor ideas? I want to have a very elegant wedding, but I want to keep it cheap (as in cost). Ideas?
I really want to keep Mae as the middle name, because I want my daughter to have part of my name, because my son, has his daddys middle name..
If i were to make my own flowers, with real flowers, how long would i have to make them before the wedding? To keep them fresh?
PLease dont get me started on the whole fact that i will soon have 2 children and im not married yet and all that stuff. I’ve heard it all before. . . keep those opinions to your self please! Thanks!

I have googled but it only brings up websites with plain and ugly invitation ideas. I’m after something like what you’d find in a magazine. I would go to the newsagent but it’s closed and i dont want to wait for tomorrow.

I need some ideas for Do-it-yourself wedding favors. The wedding is going to be classically elegant and the colors are berry/Burgundy, light blue, and silver.
