Who do you think got shot on General Hospital Friday at Kate and Sonny’s wedding?

I saw on a magazine that Kate has to tell Sonny a secret before she dies. If Kate did get shot, do you want her to die and what do you think the secret is?

What have you made yourself for your wedding?

A lot of people hire someone to do everything for their wedding – flowers, centerpieces, etc. Or they buy them ready made from a store. But it seems more and more people are making things themselves.

What have you made for your wedding?

Do any brides want to share your wedding pictures?

Posted: January 18th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Weddings | 1 Comment »

I know this is a strange request. I am getting married in Aug and need some ideas with decorations. I have all the other details done but now I need to worry about this. I am NOT creative at all. I have looked all over the internet and all the bridal magazines and just want to see real weddings that happened on REAL budgets. Thank you so much!!!

Is anybody a wedding planner?

Posted: January 15th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Weddings | 7 Comments »

I am completely facinated with wedding planning. I watch all of the shows and read all of the magazines. My dad says that I should be a wedding planner because I have all of the organizational, people, and planning skills and it is something that I absolutely love!

Anybody know about it?

Can you buy cakes from a place like whole foods and stack them yourself to make a wedding cake. Will that work

Well, I would use support (straws?) and I think cardboard between the layers. The problem with a true practice run is it costs twice as much, defeating my purpose. I think I’ll practice making my own cakes and stacking first. Don’t know if I want to risk wedding day stacking crisis.

Is there a safe way to clean a wedding dress yourself?

Posted: January 11th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Weddings | 8 Comments »

What is the best way to clean a wedding dress? Its just the bottom of my dress that got dirty (outside wedding) and I didn’t want to have to take it to someone if there was a way for me to do it myself. Thanks!

where can i find oversized balloons to decorate my reception?

Posted: January 11th, 2010 | Author: admin | Filed under: Weddings | 5 Comments »

i want to have giant balloons at my reception. I’ve seen them in several wedding magazines, including the last Martha Stuart one, but i looked at all their website and couldn’t find anything. when I do a Google search, i can only find tacky wedding ones that look like they’re from the 80s.
basically the ones i want are white, and more round than normal small balloons, and they’re about the size of a big beach ball, any help?

What should we do at my small wedding?

We are probably going to have 40-50 people. I would like to have dancing, but I am not sure if there are enough people for that. Do you think that will work? If not what other activities do you think we could do? I want it to be at least somewhat formal, so no lawn games or volleyball like I seem to see suggested on other websites and in magazines.
